Real jobs.
Real results.
Every project shown here is a real install from a real Roanoke Valley address. No stock photography, no staged shots. Just doors we put in and the story behind each one.
White windowed carriage door
The homeowner's original raised-panel door was 20+ years old, warped at the bottom, and drafty in winter. They wanted something that matched the stone veneer exterior better than the plain panel style they had.
Removed and hauled away the old door. Installed an Amarr carriage-house style door with nine-lite window inserts in white, sized to the existing opening. Balanced and tensioned to the new door weight. Programmed existing opener to the new hardware.
One-day install. The window sections brought natural light into the garage. Homeowner noted the draft was gone within the first week.
Flush panel door replacement
Older raised-panel door on a residential home that the owner wanted to modernize. The existing door was functional but dated — they wanted something cleaner and more contemporary without going full aluminum-glass.
Removed the old raised-panel door and installed an Amarr flush panel steel door in Dark Brown with no window sections — smooth face, clean horizontal lines. Rebalanced springs to the new door weight.
The flush panel immediately modernized the front of the house. Smooth face reads as intentional and contemporary. Existing opener carried over with no issues.
Long-panel door on board-and-batten farmhouse
New construction. The builder's standard door didn't match the long horizontal lines of the board-and-batten siding. Homeowners wanted something that felt intentional rather than generic.
Installed an Amarr long-panel steel door with horizontal lines that echo the siding profile. White finish to match trim. Paired with a LiftMaster belt drive opener for quiet operation — master bedroom is above the garage.
Finished the same week the house was painted. The long panels read as an extension of the exterior design rather than an afterthought.
Dual wood-tone carriage doors with transoms
Two-car garage on an upscale Tudor-style home. The existing white doors had been there since the house was built and looked mismatched against the stone columns and architectural detail of the facade.
Installed two Amarr Heritage carriage doors in a warm brown woodgrain composite finish, with arch-top transom window sections across both doors. New hardware, springs, and cables on both openings. Adjusted both LiftMaster openers to the new door weight.
Complete visual transformation. The carriage style and woodgrain finish complement the stone and trim without requiring wood maintenance. Both doors run quietly and balanced.
Carriage doors on stone ranch
Single-story ranch with a stone facade and mature landscaping. The flat raised-panel door was original to the house and had started separating at the bottom panel. Springs were also worn and overdue.
Replaced the door with an Amarr carriage-house style in a warm dark brown woodgrain finish. New torsion springs, cables, and bottom seal. Paired with a new LiftMaster chain drive for the heavier door weight.
Springs and door in one trip. The carriage style softened the garage face without changing the ranch-style character of the house.
Full-view glass doors on brick home
Upscale brick home with a curved stone entry and architectural details. The homeowners were finishing a major exterior renovation and wanted the garage to read as a design feature, not a utilitarian utility door.
Installed two Amarr Vista full-view aluminum-glass doors with dark frames. The glass panels are tempered and frosted at the base for privacy while still allowing light. New LiftMaster jackshaft openers on both doors to clear the low ceiling.
The glass doors are now one of the most commented-on features of the exterior. Jackshaft openers freed ceiling space for storage. Both doors open and close silently.
Modern aluminum triple bay
New construction luxury home with a three-car garage. Builder spec called for something that matched the contemporary architecture — flat roofline, black metal accents, minimal ornamentation. The standard issue doors from the builder's package didn't fit the design intent.
Specified and installed three matching Amarr full-view aluminum-glass doors in matte black frames. Coordinated delivery timing around the build schedule. All three openers installed and programmed in a single day.
Three-door install in one day. Doors are the visual anchor of the garage face. Builder has since referred two additional projects.
High-lift install on metal building
Metal frame commercial building needing a large-format door for equipment access. Ceiling clearance was tight, requiring a high-lift track configuration to maximize the usable door height without a standard radius at the top.
Installed a heavy-gauge commercial door with high-lift track configuration. All new hardware, cables, and torsion spring assembly scaled to the door size and frequency of use. Commercial-grade weatherseal on all four sides.
Full clearance for equipment access with no ceiling encroachment. The door handles daily commercial cycling without adjustment.
Dual commercial doors on industrial building
Commercial building needed two new overhead doors sized for equipment access. The existing doors were original to the building, rusted at the bottom, and one had a broken spring that left it stuck half-open.
Removed both old doors. Installed two white ribbed commercial steel sectional doors with new tracks, torsion springs, and weatherseal on all sides. Commercial-grade hardware rated for daily cycling.
Both doors installed in a single day. Clean, uniform look from the street. New springs and hardware rated for the facility's daily use cycle.
