What affects the cost
Door choice drives most of the number.
Installation labor is relatively consistent. Door selection and insulation are what move the quote, which means you control most of it. Every quote is free and itemized.
Door material & construction
Insulated steel is mid-range. Composite and wood sit above. Aluminum-glass full-view doors are the premium tier, but also the showpiece.
Size & panel configuration
Single (8–10 ft wide) vs. double (16–18 ft) is the biggest jump. Commercial and multi-bay carriage configurations price per opening.
Windows & hardware
Window sections, decorative hardware, and color-match upcharges are optional and always itemized before you sign.
Opener pairing
Door-only install is cheapest. Adding a new Liftmaster opener is a small upcharge but usually the right call if the old one is 10+ years.
